We are a village preschool based at The Community Centre in Great Chesterford. We serve families from the Chesterfords, Saffron Walden, and the surrounding villages, offering a warm and caring environment for children aged two to four+. We aim to help your child reach their potential and find their independence whilst preparing them for Primary School.
Children preparing to enter the Reception class at Great Chesterford Academy will particularly benefit from forming friendships with some of their future classmates.
We are incredibly proud to have been rated as consistently ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Our most recent inspection was October 2024.

Sessions
Our preschool runs between 9.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
We have an excellent car park with plenty of space available for a calm drop off and collection.
The preschool day is organised around two main sessions: Morning 9.00 to 12.00 and Afternoon 12.00 to 15.00. A full day is the equivalent of 2 sessions.
Children attending the afternoon session will need to bring in their own packed lunch and they can enjoy eating their lunch with their friends.
